According to National Days Today website, the fourth Wednesday in January is Library Shelfie Day – a day for book lovers to express their love for the books and bookshelves that have been faithful friends through thick and thin.

The Library Shelfie Day was created by the New York Public Library in 2014 to celebrate everything bookish📚

We find the library with all of the books and bookshelves – really, EVERYTHING at our fingertips – to be a VERY magical place. The feel and smell of the hard copy is exceptional experience that we want to share with everyone📚

Make a trip to the library and snap a quick pic in front of your favorite author or subject, or take a shelfie in front of the books you have collected.
